Memories is a game about Charlotte, a girl haunted by memories from her school days. In a mix of introspection and fighting the ghosts of the past, she must find a way to move forward in this journey.

This is a proof of concept submitted to RPG Maker Horror Jam #8 and Themed Horror Game Jam #20 concurrently, under the theme “Realm of Nightmares”. This game was made in RPG Paper Maker.

There won’t be more updates on this page, but I plan to publish a full version of this game on Godot with added features, better designed puzzles and overall more elaborate story. Follow me for updates!

If you’re having trouble, I’ve added a comment with hints and puzzle solutions.

This plugin enables locking the mouse pointer and implements the ThreeJS Raycaster.

Locking the mouse pointer is essential to implement mouse camera controls. Just remember to unlock it before accessing the main menu or other UI elements.

The raycaster essentially enables the user to get a Map Object under the mouse pointer. You can also use it to get a Map Object’s screen position.

WARNING! The mouse events of this plugin only work for the Hero Model, just like the engine default!

Today is your first day as a detective intern and tomorrow’s the day your partner gets promoted to become the chief of detectives. However, you got faced with a tough murder case on the first day: your own murder. Using the power of your neighborhood grandpa’s Backwards Corruption Jump device, you can feed it clues to rewind suspects to the past and corrupt their braincells into telling the truth through the power of bonking their heads. As you collect clues and information, you have the opportunity to accuse them of their own crime. Will you find the truth to your own murder, or will you be the corrupted one yourself?

!!!If audio distorts during gameplay, simply just save and restart the game. The audio will return back to normal once you begin playing again!!!

Submission for the RPG Paper Maker Jam 2024, themed “unexpected reaction”. The idea was to play around the father’s fear of his daughter’s reaction when trying to have a heart to heart talk. His daughter is moving to a new city to get into college, and he’s afraid she’ll leave in bad terms with him.

Yon comma adventure is a game made in less than a week for the RPG Paper Maker Jam. It’s inspired by the yonkoma manga genre, 4 panels stories with generally a pretty absurd humor.
