Eligibility:
- RythmHacks is open to all high school students
- You must be registered and checked in to participate
- Teams can have 1-4 members
- All team members must be present at The Accelerator Centre in Waterloo, ON
Project Requirements:
- All code must be written during the hackathon (October 25-26, 2025)
- You may use existing libraries, frameworks, and APIs
- Projects built before the hackathon are not eligible
- All projects must be submitted through Devpost by the deadline
Conduct:
- All participants must follow the MLH Code of Conduct
- Be respectful to other participants, mentors, judges, and organizers
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated
- Keep the venue clean and respect the space
Intellectual Property:
- You retain all rights to your project
- By submitting, you grant RythmHacks permission to showcase your project on our website and social media
Judging:
- Projects will be judged based on: Algorithmic Innovation, Technical Complexity, Creativity, Impact, and Presentation Quality
- All submissions must include a working demo
- Judges' decisions are final
Other:
- RythmHacks organizers reserve the right to disqualify any project or participant that violates these rules
- Participants are responsible for their own belongings
- Food, drinks, and snacks will be provided throughout the event
