Dates

  • Opening Ceremony: Saturday, 9:00 AM
  • Hacking Begins: Saturday, immediately following the opening ceremony
  • Project Submission Deadline: Sunday, 10:00 AM
  • In-Person Judging: Sunday, 11:00 AM in TLC

Attendance at the opening ceremony is mandatory to compete.

Eligibility

  • Open to all currently enrolled students
  • Teams of up to 4 members
  • All skill levels welcome — developers, designers, strategists, and analysts

All participants must be registered for SacHacks to submit a project.

Project & Submission Requirements

Projects must be built during the hackathon and submitted on Devpost before the deadline. Your submission must include:

  • Project name and description
  • The partner challenge you addressed, or a clear description of the open-ended problem you defined
  • GitHub repository or design files (if applicable)
  • Explanation of impact and future scalability

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to top teams in each challenge category, along with overall grand prizes. Winners will be announced following in-person judging on Sunday.

Judging Criteria & Winner Selection

Judging will take place in person on Sunday at 11:00 AM in TLC. Projects will be evaluated by a panel of industry professionals, sponsors, and community leaders based on:

  • Feasibility & Scalability
