In the wake of the pandemic the demand for video communication tools exploded, and as a result the rising numbers in video suppliers has nearly flooded the market. This together with increased regulation, such as GDPR and WCAG, has made it nearly impossible to navigate for customers. Today there is not a single solution that meets customer needs while at the same time being compliant. The merge betweenQuickchannel and Screen9 will change that.

Creating a strong market leader

Quickchannel and Screen9 are the two largest suppliers of video and streaming platform to the public sector in Sweden. Together, the new company, that will be continuing forward with the Quickchannel branding, will have over 300 customers in 10 countries and 50 employees. Blq invested in Quickchannel in 2020 and will now be adding additional funding of 15 MSEK to accelarate the growth of this merger. The mission for the merger is to establish a marketing leading position in the Nordics and to enter new markets internationally.

About the position

You’ll be working closely with the Head of Sales to recruit, activate and engage with partners to help partners market Screen9 to their active customer base. You will educate, support and help our partners win more business. You are also expected to bring business back to partners when we help their customers. You will address technology partners, integrators and production partners in your role. Each category has its needs and its set of opportunities. As a partner manager, you will need to prioritize your time between different partners and customers to maximize your results. You will be supported by a marketing manager to generate use cases, white pagers and create marketing activities with our partners.

About the position

You will be working in an agile team developing our front-end applications including the management console, the video editor and various integrations with third party services. You will be part of a team that cares about what it delivers, both in terms of building highly scalable and innovative products, as well as the quality and maintainability of code the team produces. The team takes responsibility for delivering on the roadmap, improving the platform’s performance and scalability as well as continuously identifies product enhancements. Development pace is high and we put code into production every other week.

The position is available in our Crakow office.

• are very comfortable writing JavaScript, HTML & CSS
• are experienced in Angular.js or Angular.io
• are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools
• are comfortable running your software in Linux environments
• know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing

• have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions
• are fluent in English
• probably have a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
