Greg Shepard is a serial angel investor and venture capitalist with a legacy of building and running sustainable growth businesses. Driven by a transformational leadership style, Greg has spearheaded multiple company exits in the BioTech, TransitTech, AdTech and MarTech space. Two of his former companies, AffiliateTraction and AdAssured, were acquired by eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions in January 2016 as a part of cross-brand deal totaling largely over $900M. The transaction comprised the purchase and sale of more than 14 companies, two of which were Greg’s. M&A Advisor penned the deal as:

●      Tech Deal of the Year Over $250 million

●      Private Equity Deal of the Year Over $500 million to $1 billion

●      Cross Border Deal of the Year Over $500 million to $1 billion

●      M&A Deal of the Year Over $500 to $1 billion

All included a carve out of 14 companies followed by exiting 12 – and buying three, (including two of Greg’s).

Most recently, he has been authoring a book titled: ‘Meet the BOSS – The Agile Playbook for Startups’ due out in 2019. Which provides a transparent,  A-Z roadmap on how to build, grow and eventually sell your startup. His goal in writing the book is to empower entrepreneurs to obtain the wealth that allows them to altruistically give back in a similar way he has done. Alongside the book will be an upcoming TEDx talk.

Greg’s north star is defined through the concept of Charitable Capitalism – a term he has coined which means strategically pushing forward philanthropic goals using capital as a vehicle for motivation.
