interviewing skills

Don't bring attention to any skill or experience you may not have unless someone asks you to address it. You'd be surprised how much people don't notice the things we don't focus on. If you feel like you're even 50% qualified for a role, go for it. A job description is just the employer's wish list. If you haven't done something on that list before, it doesn't mean you are not capable of doing it, but you may have to demonstrate why you believe you can (during an interview).

leadership skills

In this corporate world, we heavily focus on IQ as this is the key to progress. But no one thinks about EQ.
By IQ, you can impress someone really quick, but without EQ you won't be able to sustain that good impression.

presentation skills

Great presenters always do these 5 things:

1. Consider their audience - great presenters determine who they are talking to and how much they know about the subject to establish the purpose of the presentation.

2. Organize their thoughts - they focus on delivering three main ideas that begin with a solid opening and end with a strong close, including a call to action.

3. Channel positive energy - they maintain an open and confident body posture, use gestures to emphasize their points and show enthusiasm with facial expressions.

4. Connect and engage with listeners - they use eye contact to keep listeners engaged and to maintain a conversational feel.

5. Practice constantly - they are familiar with concepts to ensure a smoother delivery and focus on being themselves while getting they ideas across.

salary negotiation skills

Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. You are your best advocate and people don't read minds. They’re not going to know what you want unless you say it out loud.
