Operational Overview

SikkerAPI operates a distributed honeypot sensor network capturing real attacker behavior across 17 protocols. Sensor telemetry is combined with community reports to produce IP reputation scores, behavioral classifications, and exportable threat feeds. All intelligence is queryable via REST API.

01 // Collection

Distributed honeypot sensors accept all credentials and observe post-authentication behavior across SSH, HTTP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, FTP, SMTP, Redis, Docker, Telnet, and more. Every command, query, and payload is recorded. Sessions are published to the public session database.

02 // Analysis

An editorial engine matches raw session events against named attack primitives and compound behaviors — SSH key persistence, GPU recon, container escape, IoT botnet staging. Each detection carries a severity level and confidence score. Browse the full detection catalog or explore the threat landscape by country, ASN, or protocol.

03 // Reporting

Sensor detections are combined with community reports from security teams, Fail2Ban, CSF, and other integrations. Reports can be submitted individually or via the bulk report endpoint. Confidence levels are calculated from observable events — never from purchased lists or unverifiable third-party feeds. Scoring methodology.

04 // Defense

SikkerGuard provides automated IP blocking for Linux servers with zero configuration. Sikker-CLI enables terminal-based lookups and reporting. For programmatic use: dynamic blacklists, STIX/TAXII 2.1 feeds for SIEM integration, and deployment guides for iptables, Nginx, Fail2Ban, and CSF.
