Welcome to Star Hacks 2024!
Here at Star Hacks, we aspire to pioneer and foster the next generation of brilliant minds, programmers, developers and envisioners to create tools and opportunities to help them succeed. To do so, the Star Hack League has created their own hackathon for hackers to improve their skills!
The goal of this hackathon is to create a educational or business tool. The broad subject allows creativity and flexibility in your creation and to help inspire everyone to participate!
The goal of Star Hacks is to create an app or program that will help students or buisnessworkers in any field a helpful advantage. This freely applying topic allows participants to be creative in their app.
In addition, it is highly recommended that you join our discord server to get live updates about the hackathon and earn International League Points.

Requirements
To submit to Star Hacks 2024, individuals or teams must submit the following:
- A Devpost submission about the project. The project must fall into the rules below.
- Either: (1) A Proof of Concept, (2) Any test for a working prototype/MVP (3) A Video of Your Project
Optional:
- Videos that explain your project is always appreciated and allows you to connect with our judges on a deeper level.

Best Use of the Desmos API
Desmos Studio is a Public Benefit Corporation with a goal of helping everyone learn math, love math, and grow with math. They hold the belief that everyone has an inner mathematician.
We invite you to explore the possibilities of the Desmos API. A demonstration API Key for your use during the event is available here: https://www.desmos.com/api/v1.8/docs/index.html#document-api-keys
The project demonstrating the most innovative utilization of the Desmos API will be awarded a Desmos Swag Pack valued at $45, comprising merchandise and more.
Best Use of GSAP API
GSAP allows you to effortlessly animate anything JS can touch. Delivering silky-smooth performance and unmatched support so you can focus on the fun stuff.
The project showcasing the most exemplary utilization of the GSAP API will be granted complimentary premium GSAP Club memberships for each member of the team. In addition, the team will also receive a total of one Arduino Uno R3 to be distributed among team members as fit.
The Wolfram Award
The Wolfram Award celebrates excellence among the top seven teams overall. Each awardee will receive a year of Wolfram|One Personal Edition coupled with a one-year subscription to Wolfram|Alpha Pro, valued at $375.00 per individual award. In addition, the top team showing a deep technical understanding of Wolfram Alpha and a user friendly UI will receive a total of one Arduino Uno R3 to be distributed among team members as fit.
