Yes, that is possible. You can keep using the regular Yoast sitemap and have the news sitemap from XML Sitemap & Google News beside it without any problems.

I have installed Yoast for SEO on https://discordserverlink.com/ , but they ask for a premium for the News sitemap. Can I use the “XML Sitemap & Google News” plugin without uninstalling the Yoast SEO?

Great! After switching the settings of the server and authorizing it to the Plugin, the UTC finally was added to the home url. With what i was thinking before now it has brought up wider thoughts, “it could be” of how we configured the config.php file receiving the core updates. Many were disabled to help keep up with the daunting task of developer life. At least you added something to us today, may God continue to bless you!

Hi Sopriza, you may have hit a limitation of the plugin, related to the WordPress core sitemap server. It will be addressed in the upcoming version. You could try the alternative sitemap server: go to Settings > XML Sitemap and switch the “Server” setting to “Plugin”.

Guys you created a good plugin but the help tutorial its not sufficient for beginners like me. The current problem we’re facing is our theme has no home (the page you create) its dynamic. Now everything thing works fine, but we’re missing the UTC for the one URL that is home.

Hi Julia, when first adding any sitemap in Google Search Console, in most cases there will be an error. This is a known issue in GSC and should go away after a while.

Hi Geeta, there are posts on some plugin features on https://premium.status301.com/knowledge-base/ but not specifically on the Automatic priority and Update last changed date. But have you looked under the Help tab? It can be found on the specific settings page, at the top right. Open it end you should find descriptions of each setting in the Post types section there…
