The upgrade screen. I couldn't figure out what caused it. There was nothing it the console logs.

It seemed to only happened after moving around the tree (wasd) but not every time.

Pressing escape/clicking the menu/back button did work where I could go back to the play button which would show me the last dialog I saw then bring me back to the upgrade screen. Space would work at this point (continue dialog and to play the game).

Esc also closes fullscreen, which was annoying... Neither clicking back in, clicking upgrades, nor entering full screen again would fix it.

That's all I can remember (Firefox on Linux)

For some reason next(space or clicking) just stops working until I got back to menu and start again.

I love this kind of game, the building up a civilization type. I have a few problems though:

1) Banked time having a max of 8 hours makes it feel like you need to leave the game going like an idle game but Expeditions seem to be required (2) but the longest one goes for is 5 or 5 1/2 hours... and (3)

2) Expeditions seem to be required to run constantly because (4) and there is no automation for them meaning you need to constantly be checking in on them or risk going for longer ones... (3)

3) Expedition % is a problem combined with the amount of time they take. After 2 5 hour trips to try to get the computers I needed to progress I got none both times almost making me just quit... I have really bad luck so I hate this type of stuff.

4) Craftables take forever to make and (5)

5) More people drastically lowers production instead of increasing it due to all the negatives, meaning I had to put the people onto farming, security, and forestry plus use the craftables I was trying to make on Public Buildings just to get back to where I was. Results: more expensive Public Buildings, less craftables, and more resources being used to support the extra people...

6) Extra: I unlocked Radiation Study before Rocket Science (I think) and got nothing. I think I was supposed to get piloted missions but I see it nowhere.

Solutions I can think of:

1) At the very least max banked time should be 12 hours but I've seen up to a week so people who have very little time to play aren't left out. I'd prefer just removing banked time and just have speed up.

2) Make Expeditions automatic from the start. Have a button to cancel. Maybe a button to pause once finished.

3) Don't have chances, just lower the amounts you can find... Though, I feel they are already too low, taking way too many trip to get a single building out of 4 I need to make any progress...Am I playing wrong? It feels like I'm playing this wrong.

4) I have no idea how to balance stuff but giving me a 5% to 0.1 when I need thousands is way too unbalanced making artisans useless with all the other problems with using people...

5) I have no idea what to do here because the entire game seems to be unbalanced at this point. It seems like things might get balanced late game? but early game is a mess.

Note: My brain is broken so I could just be unable to notice what I should be doing.

I agree with "unnecessary" but disagree with "stupid". Without the timer it can become a boring idle game if the dev isn't careful. might not be the right words... Without a timer people could sit on the gameplay screen for a long time and then get upset when they find out they hardly made any progress because they needed upgrades they could have afforded seconds into the gameplay session. I think having an indicator on the gameplay screen telling you have many upgrades the player can purchase could fix that issue. My preferred method is actually having upgrades available from the gameplay screen rather than having to restart each time you want to upgrade.

As someone with major cognitive issues, I agree. I need to relax but the timer makes it too difficult. It seems there are quite a few people who don't feel that way though.

If my brain actually worked I would have loved to make a game from this genre without a timer...

What happen to the auto balancing AI? Distribute evenly is pretty useless...

I knew about the arrow keys. Unfortunately I'm too disabled to explain but basically it doesn't help much in the beginning when you are trying to figure things out. A lack of copy paste also makes thing tedious.

I had way more fun making a script to play the game and I intend on finishing it at some point so it can play the whole game.

+5 bits only adds +1

This really needs tab completion. I had to create a script to play the game for me because there is too much typing for me.

My script says [edit: it's wrong] should be the buy order but I noticed I was only getting 3 bits after +5 got bought.

Feels like you have to constantly make risky moves and you still have to hope they wander into the explosion. It feels like there is no strategy, just luck.

I agree, the balance is very broken. got to T10 rebirth  but I have no way to get to t2 abyss nor stage 40 for t3 ascension.

I got to 250 rebirth points and it just wasn't worth it never mind getting another 250 points for a seemingly useless buff. I need more damage not an extra life...

So I can get +50% dmg after I die first and there's an 80% chance it won't work... very useless.

After cheating to get 2000 rebirth points:

750pts level scales better seems to mean progress? I can't tell but it's still not the damage I need.

1250 rebirth pts multi based on rebirth tier seemed to double my point gain at T10 but that is still trash when you give so little and need so much to make progress.

1500 formation T2. Finally! now I can double my damage... but I'm a glass cannon...

2000 amulet T3. this was probably a bad idea because of the +1 curse but I see the buff +1 requires stage 40 completion, which means I was supposed to rebirth hundreds of times to get to 2000 points before pushing to stage 40?!

Alright, I'll play some more to see how far I can get now...

Edit: I got further but still couldn't get to stage 30/40. I cheated to get souls, buffs (max level and change active ones), and EXP.

Beat it in 29 runs in 62 minutes! Great game but the game starts off way too slow.

Love the 0.3.1 update. Pierce and bounce are great addition.

I wonder if changing the ball color based on how many bounces are left would look good or just end up confusing.

Each run feels like it goes on too long. Maybe twice as long? Not sure what to do about that though. May just be me.

Also, there is a bug with the Sandpipes and filling the Water Tower. If you start filling the water while the sandpipe is in use the farm will stop working using water infinitely. Clicking the birth to manually finish watering the farm fixes it. I noticed it an hour into playing today so I'm not sure what else causes it, could of been going on since I started or when I left it off.

Great game. I hope you are continuing to develop it.

There definitely needs an earlier idle science generation, even if it's 10% of a missed scientist.

Prestige's '-' should probably be next to the '+'; It took me a while to notice it.

The hourly bonus is a great idea. It took me way too long to actually look at them because it just looked like cash-grab micro-transactions, probably due to having a time and being next to the daily gift, which is a common location of micro-transactions. Perhaps you could make a quest to activate one or both.

I don't like how tasks work right now aside from having a shorter time for the next task to show up the less tasks there are:

• Not resetting on prestige makes me not want to prestige because of how slow coins are to get (or how slow early game is) and the feeling that it would be better to finish the current tasks because the rewards might be prestige bonuses.
• You could probably speed up the early game by having the random reward(? The thing that shows up middle left of the screen) show up more often early game when its more active play and slow down but stay on screen longer as time goes on as play becomes more idle.
• I don't know how tasks and their rewards are chosen so I don't know if this will work but I'd suggest clearing on prestige, having random rewards for the first couple to speed up early game, and then the rest should have prestige rewards upon first completion and random rewards when completed in later prestiges making it quicker to get back to where the player left off and prevents the player from feeling like prestiging isn't worth it and deciding to quit playing.

I love base building games like this so I'll probably keep playing this for a while :)

Do some manual planting and cutting by holding down p for a while then c for a while. I was just going to give a hint but it's not really obvious that the speed has changed so much.

Manually "installing" works fine.

In order to click in Linux, you must use windowed mode. I've had this problem with multiple Unity games.

It's so weird that you can click away the pause screen but not anything else.
