In collaboration with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and National University of Singapore (NUS), we have made significant strides in advancing V2G technology. 🚗🔋⚡ We’ve developed Singapore’s largest V2G test-bed, featuring 10 commercial vehicles and 10 V2G-enabled electric vehicle chargers. This initiative allows electricity to flow in both directions to and from EV batteries, allowing energy stored in the battery of the vehicle to be sold back to the grid when the demand for power is high using our in-house developed OCPP 2.0.1 Open Charge Point Protocol.

We will begin the pilot project in the SIT Campus, focusing on intelligent and real-time management of V2G services. We will deploy Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology as an added layer of flexibility in fleet management, aiming to support Singapore in enhancing the resiliency and reliability of its power grid, while also facilitating greater integration of renewable energy.

Leveraging on data collected from our SMRT Buses telematics system that was installed on all our bus fleet, our data scientists team built AI-model and smart algorithms to assesses individual BC risk profiles, considering factors such as driving performance, driving behavior, and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) insights.

This initiative demonstrates Strides Digital’s commitment to use technology to add to our SMRT Buses capabilities, enhancing transportation safety and lowering risk of accident and incident.
