Announcing the winners: Afraid of the Cloud and ImmersifyU!
First place and the Oculus Rift Dev Kits have gone to Afraid of the Cloud’s Michael G. and Henry W. They submitted an augmented reality application, which utilizes image and text recognition to call up 3D models. Uses include mapping, virtual tour and educational aspects.
The second place winners, who will receive Amazon Echoes, are ImmersifyU's Alex P., Stephanie M. and Bryan C. Their virtual reality app is designed to give students an immersive exploration experience into WashU’s many student organizations and clubs.

Update 2: PhotoStiching
Hey Everyone,
In this update we are giving a quick tip. If you want to make photospheres from pictures to use in your app, you can use Hugin to stitch photos together and it is free! The link is: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/. It is also possible to take streetview images and make spheres too! Happy hacking!
