SystemsHacks is a 12-hour, beginner-friendly Hackathon run by the Software Systems Student Society. Many students from all over SFU have attended SystemsHacks in the past for the sense of community, technical experience, and prizes! SystemsHacks has occurred annually since 2017 and we are excited to bring you our first in-person hackathon since LifeHacks back in 2020! Everyone is welcome to apply here!
Every SystemsHacks we strived to cultivate an environment where new hackers can hack alongside other beginners. To emphasize that with RootHacks, we wanted to give hackers free rein on what their project could be, whether it being going back to basics or branching out in new directions, and with all the interpretations of roots you can decide which path to take!
