1. There is no minimum team size, however there is a maximum team size of 4 people. There will be 1 prize per member of a team, this is independent from team size.
  2. Teams should be made up of registered attendees only who are not organisers, judges, sponsors, partners, volunteers or any other position at the event that could be considered an advantage.
  3. Teams can ask organisers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and other attendees for advice during the event.
  4. All work on a project should be done at the hackathon, eg. you cannot submit a project that was started prior to the event and was completed during the weekend.
  5. Teams can work on ideas that have been done before, however reused of code is not permitted.
  6. Teams can use any libraries, frameworks or APIs in their projects should they wish. However working on a project before the event and using it in this way is not allowed.
  7. Teams must stop working on their project once the time is up. However, teams are allowed to debug and make minor fixes to projects after the time is up. Making large changes to the code base or adding new features is not permitted.
  8. Projects that violate our, or our partners Code of Conduct is not allowed.
  9. Teams can be disqualified from the competition at the organising team's discretion. Reasons for disqualification may include but are not limited to breaking competition rules, breaking the Code of Conduct, or inappropriate/disrespectful behaviour during the event.
  10. Each team may only submit one project, however they can apply to multiple sponsor challenges and win multiple prizes with that single project.
