I generally refer to it as gravy unless I’m talking to somebody that will not understand what that means in the Italian context, which is most people in central Texas 🤣🤣

in my Italian family we only called it GRAVY , never tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce. However if I’m talking to non Italians (Amerigans) then I use the word sauce 🤣🤣🤣
