The Seneca Housing Hackathon 2024, sponsored by Thinking North and organized by Seneca College, is an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their problem-solving skills while addressing real-world challenges faced by housing market. The hackathon is open to all students, regardless of their backgrounds. The Housing Hackathon is mainly student-led by the students, alumni, professors, and members of Seneca College, with the support of sponsors such as Thinking North.

Participants can choose from several challenge sets. Participating in the Housing Hackathon offers several benefits, including experiential learning, collaboration, mentorship and technical support, and a chance to showcase solutions before a panel of experts consisting of investors, partners, school representatives, and domain specialists. The winning teams stand a chance to receive prizes and be considered for applied research project investment opportunities.
