Toolbox
The Toolbox is organised in two main areas: Medicines R&D and Patient Involvement. You can also search by category or keyword. At the next stage you can also refine the search by “tags” (sub-categories). Key introductory topics are highlighted to help you explore Medicines R&D as well as Patient Involvement.
Key concepts in the articles are also linked to EUPATI Glossary for definitions. Don’t miss exploring the EUPATI Library for key publications on patient–researcher collaboration across medicines R&D and health innovation.

Guidance on Patient Involvement
Patient organizations, academia, not-for-profit organizations, and pharmaceutical companies, HTA and regulatory bodies are represented in the EUPATI partnership. Together, through reviews and a process of public consultation, sets of policies and standards for patient’s involvement in medicines research and development have been published. These guidance should be used in relevant stakeholder communities and will contribute to the development of internal operating procedures in organizations and companies.
