Your journey to becoming a Bear starts here! Follow these steps to lock in your spot and prepare for an exciting start at the University of Central Arkansas.

1. Apply for Admission

Starting August 1, 2025, submit your application, high school transcript, test scores, and immunization records to the Office of Admissions.

2. Submit Your Financial Aid Applications

Beginning October 1, 2025, complete your FAFSA, AR Academic Challenge, and private scholarship applications. For the FAFSA, use UCA’s school code 001092 to ensure we receive your information.

3.Complete the Commitment Application

Send proof of your AR Academic Challenge application to [email protected]. The application opens October 1, 2025 and the deadline to submit and provide supporting documents is May 4, 2026.

4. Start Your Housing Application

Reserve your spot on campus by completing the housing application and paying your $100 deposit, beginning October 1, 2025.

5. Register for SOAR

Student Orientation & Registration (SOAR) is your chance to register for classes, meet fellow Bears, and get ready for life at UCA. Registration opens in February.
