• All participants must be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution in Canada

  • Participants can register as individuals and in teams of up to five members to participate in the design challenge. All individuals will be placed in teams after registration.

  • Participants can also register as guests to partake in the pre-recorded talks only and live speakers’ Q & A sessions.

  • Submit on https://ux-thinkprivacy.devpost.com 

  • Create an MVP (minimum viable product) prototype demonstrating your team’s idea using any prototyping or development software of your choice.

  • Include a title, caption, and description of your prototype.

  • Record a 10-minute presentation and demo of your prototype and include it with your submission. The presentation should show how your team’s idea meets each of the judging criteria: research and insights, design-thinking, privacy-conscious design, innovation and impact, execution.

Upon submission, the host and sponsor maintain the right to promote the winning project and winner’s name in order to promote both this competition and subsequent competitions.
