Hi. This is very old project and has since been dismantled for new use. We do have huge CNC router but I don’t know if it is accurate enough to carve PCBs. Visit us some wednesday on open house event to check what is possible.

Hi! I am interested on making a circuit board with your machine, would it be possible to make one without being a member and how much would it cost. Also what format should the file be?

Hi. We don’t have employees as we are organization that provides spaces for our members to work on their own projects. We have new laser engraver but I don’t think it has correct wavelength to engrave metals too well. Sticker stencil and electro etching with battery charger is technique one of our members used to do some metal etching. I’ll forward this to our members and see if any of them are interested in working on this kind of project.

Hi. We have no experience with firmware side of these. Can you check if power supply is still working and giving out correct woltages?

Hi,

I see that you have done a lot of repair to your Mercury Laser Cutter. I actually have the same model and it was working well, then it started giving an error that suggested that the firmware may be acting up. When I updated the firmware, it appeared to have some issue, and now the system doesn’t appear to start up at all. The display remains blank and it no longer goes through the homing process when powered on.

1.) I suspect that the control firmware needs to be reflashed onto the EEPROM, but I don’t know how to do that when it won’t load into the bootloader mode.
2.) I don’t know if you would have any suggestions on where to start looking for possible hardware issues that could cause this.

Since you have really rebuilt yours, I thought you may be able to help.

Idea: Jostain toimistonpurku-myyjäisistä/katskikuormasta löytää seinälle asennettavissa olevia umpikaappeja softläbille, pistorasioiden väliin. Lisää tilaa joka ei ole silmissä, nykyisten kaukaloiden lisäksi.

Niin ja loistavaa toimintaa!
