VicHack is the largest Victorian student hackathon collaboration, brought to you by HackMelbourne, DSCUBED, MAC, MDN, and RISC. Spanning UniMelb, Monash, and RMIT, this hackathon is your ultimate hub for innovation, fun, and deep dives into the technical intricacies of various cutting-edge fields.

What are the streams?
We have four core streams for you to choose from, each offering a unique journey into groundbreaking technology:

• Blockchain:
  Blockchain technology is set to revolutionize the way we build secure applications across industries such as finance, healthcare, and education.
• Data Science:
  Data is ubiquitous, and harnessing it can unlock valuable insights. Dive into data science to learn how to capture and utilize data effectively.
• Artificial Intelligence:
  Machines are on the brink of autonomous thinking. Utilize AI to build intelligent applications and uncover unique discoveries.
• Mobile Development:
  Handheld devices are integral to our daily lives. Learn how to develop powerful applications that can transform everyday activities.

So what will you do?

1. Explore the Streams
   Attend the stream workshops to get a feel for each stream and decide which one aligns with your interests.
2. Team Up and Create
   Form your team, choose a stream, build an innovative project, and submit it to the hackathon.

Event Schedule and Key Dates

• Opening Ceremony
  Join us on Friday, August 9th, to kick off the hackathon and gather all the essential information.
• Hub Day 1
  On Saturday, August 10th, head to the University of Melbourne to start working on your project, meet new people, and win exciting prizes.
• Hub Day 2
  Bring your friends to Monash University on Saturday, August 17th, for more fun and a chance to win exclusive prizes.
• Submission Deadline
  Ensure your project is submitted by Sunday, August 18th, at 11 PM to compete for the main prize.
• Networking Night and Winner's Showcase
  Conclude the hackathon on Firday, August 23rd, with networking opportunities and a showcase of the winning projects.
