To make it easier and lower the risk for you to test our cutting edge builds, Vivaldi Snapshot is a separate application that will be installed alongside the Final and have its own set of preferences and settings.

  • Import data from Safari – One of the most requested features from the community. With this feature, switching from Safari to Vivaldi is much easier and smoother. To import data from Safari, go to Settings > Import.

When testing a Snapshot, it is a good idea to review the changelog (above). Try out the changes and let us know your thoughts in the comments section or report it directly to our bug tracking system. When commenting or reporting a bug, remember that it is helpful to mention the version you were testing with.

  • Two-Level Tab Stack – Our signature tab stacking style has finally come to iOS. In this layout, stacked tabs appear in a second tab bar. The feature is enabled by default for new users, and you can easily switch between Accordion style and Two-Level styles in Settings > Tabs.

Known issue

  • Tapping the photo credits on the daily image does not work in this build.
