About the Challenge

Global Responsible AI Hackathon 2023:

Moving AI Ethics from Talk to Action

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, AI is not just a buzzword—it's transforming industries. But with its vast potential comes significant risks. Unfortunately, even though AI can be incredibly harmful, few organizations act to ensure that their AI is safe and beneficial.

Surprisingly, a staggering 74% of companies in a recent survey haven't taken steps to mitigate unintended biases in their AI systems.

Why This Matters

AI's power can be a double-edged sword. When not handled responsibly, it can lead to unintended consequences, harming individuals and society. This hackathon challenges you to shift the narrative, moving from mere discussions about AI ethics to tangible actions.

The goal of this hackathon is to help organizations act to make their AI more responsible. To that end, individuals and teams will be invited to create proofs of concept for increasing the implementation of responsible AI practices.
