Our Story

Acendr was created by Dr Jane Graham and her son Tony Woollard following many years of clinical work and lived experience of ADHD.

Jane’s work supporting adults with ADHD highlighted a significant gap in structured life-skills support, particularly for people waiting for assessment or navigating everyday life after diagnosis.

Together they developed the Acendr program to provide practical, structured support designed specifically for the way people with ADHD learn best.

Program user testimonials

What program participants said

"The best thing about the program is the support it gives people waiting for a diagnosis. When I found out I was on the waiting list for ADHD, there was no further support. This has been a great experience for my feelings to be validated and helpful tips to manage symptoms on ADHD. It is ADHD friendly, easy to complete and there are resources you can keep for life"

Program participant

"Since starting the program I have found a feeling of unity, understanding, self-awareness and I no longer feel as alone"

Program participant

"I like that the course is fairly laid back and easy to get into...and stay focused"

Program participant

"Two specific things that stand out for me; first of all the flexibility to work around your own schedule. This makes it so much easier than trying to fit several appointments into my day, especially as I work shifts. Second, the resources provided are really helpful, even those relating to areas I already have relatively under control"

Program participant

"I like how I can access it when I need, like evenings and weekends when I have more time or energy. I also enjoy the videos and find the content engaging and informative"

Program participant

"The best part about the program is how accessible it is. It was easy to login and explore the site. There are visual and auditory tools so it makes it easier to focus and concentrate. It is clear to see, that the resources are designed by and for neurotypical people and the community is a safe space"
