What's Bit1?
Bit1 is a student game development competition consisting of preliminary rounds called PreBits and the Bit1 Finale. The PreBits are held in several cities across Finland. The competition offers students the opportunity to present their games to an industry jury, receive professional feedback, and network with industry professionals.
In both the PreBits and the Finale, teams pitch their game and present their core loop video. The judges evaluate the games based on commercial potential, technical execution and quality, and uniqueness. The winning team(s) from each PreBit advance to the Bit1 Finale, where the competition follows the same structure and evaluation criteria. Please note, that the competition is in English!
