The lip movements are extremely precise.

Body language feels natural, and the results are consistent, even in those longer videos.

If that’s the case, the lip sync doesn’t work out that well. Also, the facial features are lost too, since there’s too little information for the AI to process.

Today, I will share my opinion on VidIQ based on my experience and results.

But now, is it just hype or actually useful?

Let me walk you through what it offers and how it performs.

My Experience

Before I jump into my experience, I want to be clear about something:

Most of VidIQ’s “AI features” look exciting on the surface… but in reality, they’re not very useful.

Things like the AI title generator, thumbnail ideas, or “viral score” feel more like hype than practical tools. They sound great, but when you try to actually use them, they don’t add much value. I don’t rely on them at all.

But there are two features that do matter — and they’re the reason I use VidIQ every single day:

  1. Keyword Research — Simple, accurate, and the only part of VidIQ that consistently gives me real insights.
  2. Video Progress Tracking — This shows how views accumulate on a specific video over time.
    This feature alone is incredibly valuable. It helps me spot topics that stay relevant, discover patterns, and identify ideas that smaller channels can actually rank for.

Because of these two features, VidIQ is still worth it for me.

Even if everything else disappeared, I’d keep using the tool just for these.

Here’s what I mean.

So let’s say you have a small channel and you want to find opportunities.

The best way to do it is by activating VidIQ on your channel and then opening up competing videos.

If the traffic continues to rise up like that, it’s a good sign.

Also, if you want to have a quick way to check this, just open up any channel and check the VPH number.

For example, on this channel we can see that some of the videos that are older than a year still get lots of views.

In other words, those topics get consistent traffic and make passive income.

That’s the ideal situation.

You want to end up with a video that gets a lot of passive views and income.

So this tool gives you a great idea on what’s working and which videos are thriving after time.

On the other hand, if you see that a video has just spiked in views and then it has died down, that’s a bad sign.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with this type of graph.

However, it just tells that most of the views are “viral views”, and not organic.

The problem there is that those viral views don’t convert to paying customers. In other words, the ad revenue and affiliate revenue are usually much lower.

In fact, I’ve seen on my channel that viral views make me 10-20x less money than those organic views.

That’s because the organic viewers have a problem that they have searched solutions for.

The viral views just scroll and watch videos randomly.

But this video view chart is not the only useful feature.

The other one that I use every day is the keyword research feature.

This shows you how many times people are searching for a specific topic on YouTube.

It also shows you how competitive that topic is.

If you have a small channel, you should only go for low competition terms.

If you have a bigger channel, you can try those more competitive topics too!

Also, this tool gives you suggestions related to your main keyword.

If the main topic is too competitive, you can find less competitive sub-sub topics here.

These can be great new video ideas or even talking points to your video.

These are the two core features I love in VidIQ and that I actually use.

All the rest of it is useless to me.

I just made this music video entirely using AI:

The videos, the song, the lyrics, everything is AI.

This took me about 30 minutes to make.

In this post, I will show you exactly how to create your own music video with AI.

If you prefer a video tutorial, I just made one.

Let’s go!

Step 1: Creating a Song

As the first step, we need a song.

If you have one already, that’s good.

But if you don’t, in this step, I will show you how to create one.

First, head over to Elevenlabs and sign up. This is the best AI music generator (with vocals) that I’ve tested.

Then choose Music from the options on the left.

After this, you will see a view similar to ChatGPT, but this one is for creating music.

Here’s my prompt that I used to create a song:

Create an upbeat, inspiring pop song about turning imagination into reality — the feeling of starting something new and bringing your ideas to life.

Style: Modern pop with light electronic and lo-fi elements, warm synths, and a steady beat (around 100–110 BPM).

Mood: Positive, creative, motivational, and hopeful.

Vocals: Male or female pop voice with a friendly, confident tone.

Lyrics theme:

Beginning a new creative journey

Believing in yourself

The joy of seeing ideas come alive

Example lyrical ideas:

“It starts with a spark in my mind”

“Let’s make it real, together we shine”

“Every dream begins with one small try”

Structure:
Verse → Pre-Chorus → Chorus → Verse → Bridge → Final Chorus

Feel free to come up with your own, copy the one from me, or use ChatGPT to create your prompt.

Then hit “Generate”. This starts to create the song.

You can play the song while it’s creating! This is because the AI is putting it together in parts. You can play the first parts while the rest are still being created.

Notice how it also creates you the vocals for the song.

If you’re not happy with the song, you can either re-create it from scratch, or you can edit it by parts.

For example, you can choose any section of your song, and ask the AI to include/remove styles from it.

Here I’m tweaking the vocal track:

You can edit your lyrics on the spot too.

Then the AI just renders the song again with the new lyrics.

You can also include/exclude styles from your entire track instead of just touching it one part at a time.

Whenever you change something, hit Generate to create a new version of the track with your edits in place.

Oh, and don’t forget that you can also expand any section of the song too.

Once you’ve made your track and it’s ready for a video, download it.

Step 2: Creating the Character

Then, let’s create our artist for the music video.

The best place to do this called OpenArt.

This place hosts all the best AI image/video generator models. You’ll need it in all the rest of the steps of this tutorial

Once you’ve signed up, choose “Image” on the left.

Then pick the “Seedream 4.0” AI image generator model from the list.

Then describe the AI what kind of a character you want to create.

Here’s my prompt:

A young American female singer performing in a softly glowing, futuristic studio bathed in pastel lights. She stands at a sleek microphone surrounded by warm synth tones visualized as gentle waves of color in the air. The mood is uplifting, dreamy, and modern — a blend of pop and light electronic aesthetics. Her outfit is stylish but understated — soft fabrics, subtle metallic accents, and warm tones (peach, gold, lavender). The lighting is cinematic and warm, evoking sunrise energy. Background elements include abstract shapes or light trails suggesting creativity and imagination coming to life. The overall vibe is bright, inspiring, and emotionally open — no darkness, no heavy rock or metal influence, no acoustic-only setting. I recommend creating at least 2–4 images, not just one.

That’s because some of the results might not be what you were looking for.

I think this is the best image out of the bunch, so I will choose her as the character.

Step 3: Scene Images

Now that we have our artist, it’s time to put her into different scenes for the video.

  • In some scenes, she is singing the song.
  • In some scenes, she’s just doing actions silently.

To create the scenes so that the character remains consistent, write your prompt…

And drag and drop the character main image to the image generator.

This way it’s able to keep a consistent look across the scenes with minimal changes.

Remember to change the aspect ratio of your images too. It’s 1:1 by default, so you’ll get squares, which is not ideal in most music videos. Instead, you can choose 16:9 for wide-screen videos.

That being said, here’s the prompt for the first scene:

The singer is sitting in the misty forest during the sunrise and is looking down eyes closed
Style: vibrant yet warm, cinematic lensing

Here’s the result:

That’s amazing, isn’t it?

Here’s another scene prompt:

A young female singer in a dim, softly glowing creative space at dusk. She sits by a keyboard and sketchbook, gentle light from a window outlining her silhouette. Soft pastel reflections hint at imagination awakening. A few glowing music notes or soundwave lines float in the air, subtle and dreamy.
 Style: cinematic, warm synth tones, early-evening glow, intimate and inspirational.

You can create as many scenes and prompts as you like.

Step 4: Lip-Sync

Once you have your scenes, it’s time to do the lip sync.

To this, I recommend using OpenArt again.

There are a couple of AI lip-syncing tools out there that make your character sing the song you created.

However, notice that at this stage, the AI tools mostly accept only 10–30 seconds of audio.

So you need to split the song into parts before the lip-sync.

You can use a free tool like AudioTrimmer.com to do this.

To split the song, choose the start and end in the editor and hit “Crop”.

Then download your file.

Just do this as many times as you need for your song.

Also, remember that you don’t need to create lip-sync for everything.

It’s fine if the artist is not singing in every part of the video.

To do a lip-sync, head over to OpenArt.

Choose the “Video” on the left and pick “Lip-Sync Video”.

Then choose “Creatify Aurora” from the models.

Then drop your audio clip and character image to the view.

Hit create.

After a couple of minutes, you’ll see your first result.

Here’s what the first 12 seconds look like:

Isn’t that amazing? Looks exactly like she was singing there.

Step 5: Effects & Non-Vocal Scenes

Now you can also create those scenes for your music video where your artist is not singing the song.

To do this, once again, feel free to use OpenArt.

First, you need to create images for your scenes.

To do this consistently:

  1. Give it a prompt.
  2. Drop an image of your character for the AI.

Then pick one of the images.

For example, I like this image a lot:

Then go to the “Video”, choose “Image to Video”.

Choose one of the AI video generator models, drop your image to the view, give it a prompt, and hit create.

Here’s what one of the clips looks like:

That’s amazing, huh?

Now, all you need to do is repeat the step 4 and step 5 until you have scenes for all parts of your music video.

Step 6: Edit Them Together

Now that you have your song and scenes, it’s time to put those together.

This is possible with any basic video editor tool.

I recommend doing the following:

  1. First drop the song to the timeline.
  2. Then drop the lip-synced videos.
  3. Make sure the lip-synced videos match the song.
  4. Then drop in those non-vocal scenes, etc. into places you think they fit.
  5. Enjoy it!

Can you imagine that that is entirely made by AI, in just 30 minutes or so.

This is crazy.

About the Expenses

Right now, if you make AI music videos, you’re definitely one of the first people in the planet to have one.

But as I showed in this guide, it’s going to take some effort and also cost quite a bit.

Based on my credit usage, I would say that creating this 55-second video cost me roughly $50.

So if you do a full 3–4 minute video, expect to spend hundreds of dollars on it!

Another option is to wait for a year or two for these tools to be $9/month with unlimited creations.

But at that time, the AI music space is also completely saturated.

I tested a lot of AI music video generators, and most of them are just bad and full of unfulfilled promises.

In this post, I will show you the best AI music video generator that I tested.

That’s called Revid AI.

However, the results just aren’t good.

If you want to make a music video, you have to do it with this 20-minute tutorial.

The technology isn’t good enough yet to turn text into music videos.

But now, let me show you the poor results I got.

Step-by-Step Guide

First, head over to this page called Revid AI:

Then drop your song to the view. You can also create the song later if you don’t have a track to begin with!

Pick the video format.

I’m planning to make a music video for YouTube, so I’ll do the 16:9 model.

Then, it started to get a bit suspicious.

The AI asks you to pick between AI Video, Moving AI Images, Stock Videos, and Your Own Media.

When I saw this, I was pretty confident that this was just another “AI music generator” that does not create AI music videos…

However, I decided to continue creating with it.

At the next step, you need to choose a generation for your song. On top of that, you should give instructions to the AI on what to do in the music video.

Here are my inputs:

Then, it started to get super annoying.

As I hit “Generate”, the AI started to ask me questions completely irrelevant to my videos.

It was clear to me that I had stumbled across a platform of AI tools, where the so-called AI music generator is just one of the many… I wasn’t too happy about potentially wasting my time.

After answering these mandatory questions, I noticed that the AI is creating my music video. Finally! I was sure I lost all the work at this point already, as I mostly do with tools like this.

That was a sign of hope.

I thought this was just a funnel towards having to buy some credits to see a preview of a random stock-footage-flooded video that has nothing to do with AI music videos…

After waiting for a while, the AI music video was ready. It opened up an editor that looks like this:

Here you can change colors, delete slides, move slides around, and so on.

But wait a minute… This was supposed to be a music video.

Let’s look at the result:

Umm, that’s not quite what I wanted.

Also, I don’t like the fact that you need to pay $39 to export it.

It’s essentially a slideshow with an audio visualizer.

  • Nothing to do with AI.
  • Nothing to do with a music video.

It has lyrics placed in the song, which is cool. But even those are messed up bad and you’d have to spend a good while editing those to match them with the song.

And yes, this one was the best one that I found.

I guess we’re still far from having a single easy-to-use tool that can make AI music videos.

Even though many AI music videos exist, this tool (or any of those that I tried) can’t create them yet.

Making one still takes multiple steps, several different AI tools for images, video, music, and lip-syncing, plus good prompts — and a lot of money.

I’ve tested all the AI music generators on the market, and I just found a tool that’s better than any of them.

That’s called ElevenLabs.

Here’s a song I just made with it:

Elevenlabs even lets you clone your own voice with its voice replicator.

Because of that, I don’t need to pay for music libraries like Epidemic Sound or Artlist anymore.

Now you can do everything in one place without switching between tools.

So, I decided to give it a try and see how well it works.

Getting Started

To start using this epic AI music generator, sign up for ElevenLabs here.

After signing in, go to the Music section.

Write a short description of your song, choose how many versions you want, and set the length.

For my first test, I used this prompt:

“Create an original lo-fi chillhop song with a nostalgic, relaxed vibe. Use warm electric piano, soft drums, mellow bass, and subtle vinyl crackle at around 85 BPM. The track should feel cozy and introspective, like late-night study or reflection music.

Include gentle, dreamy vocals (male or female) with a slightly hazy, vintage tone. The lyrics should be simple and poetic, expressing themes of solitude, peace, and late-night thoughts — something that feels like journaling while it rains outside.

Example lyrical themes: letting go of stress, remembering good times, or finding calm in small moments. Keep the lyrics minimal and loopable — suitable for chill playlists or background listening.”

For this one, I set the length to 2 minutes. But you can also use the Auto option if you want.

When you’re ready, just click Create.

You can watch it build the song in real time — verse, chorus, bridge, everything.

It builds the song in parts, so you can start listening even before it’s done.

The first version already sounded great.

It’s warm, mellow, and has the exact chill vibe I wanted. I love it!


Editing Your Songs

With Elevenlabs, you can edit almost any part of your song.

For example, you can adjust the intro style like this:

Then you can add or remove elements as you like.

Pretty handy, right?

You can do the same with your verses, too.

Speaking of verses, if there’s a lyric you don’t like, just click it, change the words, and hit Generate again.

The AI will update the song with your new line.

You can also change how long each part lasts or tweak the mood.

If you want a faster vibe, just add “fast-paced” to your prompt and generate again.

You can also add new sections to your track.

ElevenLabs will rebuild that section while leaving the rest of the song untouched.

Each time you regenerate, the vocal tone might change a bit, which keeps it feeling fresh.


Adjusting Sections

You can make any part longer or shorter by dragging the section bar.

When you regenerate, ElevenLabs automatically adjusts the music to match the new length.

It also labels each version, so it’s easy to keep track of your changes.

To replace a full section, just delete the old lyrics, write your new ones, and hit regenerate.

If you already have a full set of lyrics, paste them straight into your prompt.

ElevenLabs will then use your lyrics to build the melody and music around them.


Creating Custom Music for Videos

If you make YouTube videos, you can use ElevenLabs to create your own intro tracks.

Here’s a sample prompt I used for that:

“A looping house or techno-inspired track for a YouTube tutorial channel. Start with a deep pulse and kick. Add a warm bass with a steady groove at 120 BPM. No vocals. Mood: sleek, futuristic, mysterious, and energizing.”

Here’s what the result sounds like:

The result sounded perfect for a YouTube intro or outro.

You can also make background music with a simple prompt like this:

“Create background music without vocals for a YouTuber who makes tutorial-style videos.”

Here’s how that one sounds:

Pretty awesome, right? That would fit perfectly in a tutorial video.

Once it’s generated, you can tweak it however you like.

For example:

  • Remove the words “upbeat” or “motivational.”
  • Replace them with “house,” “mysterious,” or “uplifting.”

Now let’s hit Generate again.

Here’s the new version of the previous track with those keywords updated:

You can hear that it still sounds similar, but the changes added some new elements.

In ElevenLabs, every tweak gives the track a slightly different vibe while still keeping your original idea.

Note the Limitations!

You can’t just make any song, since the tool checks to make sure you’re not copying someone’s work.

For this test, I tried creating a song like this:

Create an original minimal techno track inspired by Deadmau5’s signature production style.

The track should have a clean, hypnotic groove built around a deep kick, tight percussion, and evolving bassline. Use lush synth pads, filtered plucks, and a slowly modulating arpeggio to create atmosphere. Focus on space and tension — minimal layers, but rich textures.

Build energy gradually with subtle automation and sound design — long filter sweeps, reverb tails, and evolving rhythmic patterns. No vocals. Keep the mix spacious and crisp with strong low-end presence and wide stereo ambience.

See the problem here?

When I tried to make this song, it gave me an error — just like we expected.

I’m pretty sure that happened because I tried to make a song that sounded like it was made by Deadmau5.

That breaks the rules, so I needed to change the prompt.

I asked ChatGPT to rewrite it so it wouldn’t violate any policies. Here’s what it gave me:

Create an original minimal progressive techno track with a clean, hypnotic groove and a slowly evolving arrangement.

Use a deep, punchy kick drum, tight percussive elements, and a warm, evolving bassline that drives the track forward. Add atmospheric pads, subtle arpeggios, and evolving synth textures that build tension over time without cluttering the mix.

Focus on space, texture, and gradual progression — keep the elements minimal but polished. Introduce movement through filter automation, reverb modulation, and layered rhythmic variations.

The overall mood should be futuristic, spacious, and introspective — suitable for a late-night club set or immersive headphone listening.

Key: A minor (or another moody key).
 Tempo: 124 BPM.
 Length: around 5–6 minutes with a slow, progressive build and smooth outro.

Aim for a refined, cinematic sound design that feels immersive and emotionally resonant, balancing minimalism with depth.”

This one worked!

Here’s how the song sounds, by the way:

Pretty cool, right? That’s almost exactly the style I was aiming for.
