Hi Chip.

You’ve only started it once. The other process you see is the grep process you started to look for noip2.

The grep process will have stopped after the output was complete.

Just what I was looking for. One question: when I check that it is running using the ps aux command, the results have it listed twice. Does that mean I somehow started it twice? Here is the output:

nobody 1074 0.0 0.0 17044 904 ? Ss 23:37 0:00 /usr/local/bin noip2
ubuntu 1315 0.0 0.0 10464 932 pts/0 S+ 23:38 0:00 grep –color=auto noip2

Comment on New Japanese Linux Android HRP-4C by Cassie https://www.cyfinity.com/2009/03/new-japanese-linux-android-hrp-4c/#comment-30791 Tue, 24 Nov 2015 11:40:07 +0000 http://www.cyfinity.com/?p=700#comment-30791 Neat. There are other robotics teams maknig non-humanoid robots that are arguable more advanced than this japanese offering, but the Japanese are seriously committed to robotics, for their healthcare, space and military(Can we discount the possibility?), and its advancements in fine movement and other poses shown in this video that should remind other countries (cough US) why a research budget should be on par with a defense budget. I’ll be honest though. I’m disappointed that we got the Mr. Olympia posing robot I would have liked to see it use its hands to grasp something, would have liked to see quicker movements, and would have liked to have seen the other robots on the back platform activate and start a Mortal Kombat right there at the PR bonanza.

Hi Shujaat.

Unfortunately, I think it is probably not possible to retrofit a backlit keyboard to the 5315 model as it appears this model range was never offered with a backlit keyboard.
