My watch is always syncing. I synced two other activities later in the same day. It still didn’t bring the VO2 max over. As Ray notes, it didn’t for him either.

Stupid comment. Where I live, Suunto is extremely popular, especially with the national athletes. Not everyone wants a overpriced Garmin…

Comment on Suunto vs Garmin Lawsuit Gets Really Frisky: Garmin’s Countersuit by Ray Maker https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2026/03/garmin-suunto-lawsuit-countersues.html/comment-page-1#comment-4738877 Mon, 16 Mar 2026 09:42:30 +0000 https://www.dcrainmaker.com/?p=167102#comment-4738877 In reply to Giuseppe.

Agree in theory, but in this case, an ordinary person could. After all, Victorinox did a decade prior for a saleable product. And we also saw Hollywood studios actually create flashlight watches in the 1990’s for movies, like, actual usable props, not just VFX/animations.

There’s no part of putting a flashlight in a watch that required any special skill. It’d been done numerous times before. Whereas the entire antenna piece here, does require special skill (as has been illustrated numerous times, even just as recently as two weeks ago with Huawei’s antenna design seemingly missing part of that special skill).

Yeah, in my case I can see an update for a workout I did on Monday last week (on TrainerRoad). But when I look at my Peloton Bike+ workout I did on Tuesday, I don’t see any update from that. The watch has synced many times.

Of course, that could simply be that there was no change, but usually it’ll update that little line regardless (the history line). Currently, my history line appears to end at the beginning of last week, with a gap after that.

The VO2 max on mine doesn’t update straight away. I have been taking the watch off during bike + workout and then once workout completes the sync back to watch seems to take few moments to populate vo2 max and also the training load takes a while to populate but if left it does update

It is now on sale so I just want to know if I should buy or wait a bit until new version. I do not use zwift app but tacx training app since I have tacx trainer. I do not want to use my bike on a trainer anymore and this is the best solution right now.

You are missing the point. It is not about tracking the activity with the watch, but about syncing the watch with Garmin Connect (after the Peloton activity has been synced to Garmin Connect).

I am not tracking the activity via my watch. That would somewhat negate the usefulness of peloton sync. I can with my epic pro and see if that fixes the glitch for now. The bike and hrm has everything it needs without the watch.
