]]>We Build This City - ECA 2025 Municipal Campaign
We are excited to launch our 2025 ECA Municipal Election Campaign; We Build This City. All the campaign resources can be found on our Google Drive, including our election campaign document, our campaign social media posts, and our election pocket card.
Edmonton is growing rapidly, but aging infrastructure, tight municipal budgets, and escalating project costs threaten to slow that growth. We must ensure that Edmonton keeps building.
Pillars & Messages
- Don't Stop: When we pause capital budgets, cancel projects, or slow down permitting and procurement, we lose more than just momentum — we lose opportunity. Don't stop planning. Don't stop building. Don't stop growing.
- Put People First: The ECA is already leading with our workforce development partners. But we need a municipal council that values collaboration, fair risk-sharing, and transparent delivery models.
- Think Big (City): Edmonton is not a small town. We are a significant city with big-city needs — and a growing population. We must ensure our capital planning, infrastructure spending, and service design match the scale of our ambition.
What Can You Do?
- Use this toolkit to educate clients, staff, and networks.
- Share our key messages on social media.
- Attend the ECA/NAIOP/BOMA candidate mixer.
- Ask candidates: Will you invest in building Edmonton? Or will you put growth on pause?

]]>Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant Information
Opening in fall 2025, the Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant (CAPG) will be replacing the Canada-Alberta Job Grant.
The Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant (CAPG) helps employers invest in training that focuses on enhancing productivity skills for their current and future employees that aligns with the needs of their business. It is an employer-driven program meant to partially reimburse the cost for an employer to send their employee(s) for training. Employers apply on behalf of their employees and invest in training that enhances productivity and workforce competitiveness. Funding is provided by the Government of Canada through the Workforce Development Agreement.
Training may be delivered on a full or part-time basis, and may be any combination of online, on-site or in a classroom setting.
