Seeing "Crawled - currently not indexed" in Google Search Console? It means Google visited your page and decided not to include it in search results. Here are the most common reasons.
Your robots.txt file may be telling Googlebot not to crawl the page. This is the most common hard blocker and often happens by accident.
A noindex directive in your HTML or HTTP headers explicitly tells Google to skip the page. Sometimes added by CMS defaults or plugins without the site owner knowing.
Pages with very little text (under 300 words) are often seen as low-value. Google's recent updates have aggressively pruned thin pages from the index.
If your page is too similar to another indexed page, Google may skip it. This includes near-duplicates, boilerplate-heavy pages, and missing canonical tags.
Pages with few or no internal links pointing to them signal low importance. If Google can't find the page through your site structure, it may not index it.
Google prioritizes pages that match real search queries. If nobody is searching for your topic, Google may skip it entirely to save index space.
We check for all of these automatically. Paste a URL above to find out what's holding your page back.
