Do I need SpaceObServer to use Web Access or Client Access?
Yes, as they are not stand alone software. A SpaceObServer DataCentral or SpaceObServer Enterprise License is required to use our add-ons.
How do the add-ons extend your setup?
Web Access enables users to access scan results via their browser from anywhere.
Client Access is a desktop application that upgrades the client side, providing full administrative control of SpaceObServer scan data, including the ability to configure scans and perform file operations.
Does SpaceObServer Web Access support a user login with Single-Sign-On (SSO)?
You can enable Single-Sign-On in IIS to allow user login without password entry.
The SpaceObServer Web Access automatically uses the authentication credentials from Windows.

How can I transfer a license to another user?
When a user logs into SpaceObServer Web Access, a license slot is used up. When this happens, the license cannot be removed from the user except under certain circumstances: One, the user has been removed from the Active Directory. Two, the user has not used the SpaceObServer Web Access for the last 30 days. When one of these exceptions is fulfilled, then the user can be deleted in the administrator backend in the tab 'Licenses'. After deletion, the license can be used by another user.
