Following our recently published white paper providing a framework for AI adoption in healthcare, the head of our content solutions practice, Phil Crumm, joined Thierry Muller, VP of AI Products at WP Engine, and Tamara Bohlig, CMO at shared client Vida Health, for a follow-up webinar. The conversation surfaced and reinforced several practical lessons for healthcare teams exploring AI today: 👁️ AI needs to be observable, reversible, and auditable 🧱 Start with bounded use cases and a controlled knowledge base ⚖️ Design for a regulatory reality spanning HIPAA, FDA, state privacy laws, and GDPR 🧭 Personalization is powerful in healthcare, and can become risky fast when “anonymous” behavior data drifts into PHI territory We also shared a simple starter action plan: audit existing AI usage, build a safe sandbox with rollback, assess how the brand appears in AI search, and treat compliance as a partner early. https://lnkd.in/gVj5pyCx

Our VP of Open Source Initiatives, Jeffrey B. Paul, was featured in LeadDev’s article on the “AI slop” hitting open source, and the real cost it creates for already-stretched maintainers. Jeff shares what separates meaningful contributions from noise, and why some projects may need stronger contributor agreements to keep quality (and trust) intact. 🗞️ https://lnkd.in/g2AmiUuW

This recognition for the WordPress VIP team is well deserved. One nuance with reports like Gartner’s: open-source projects like #WordPress itself typically aren’t evaluated directly. The recognition shows up through enterprise offerings built around it. In that sense, moments like this reflect something many of us working in the ecosystem have seen building for years: the consistently strong results organizations see when using WordPress to manage and publish content on the web. Our team at Fueled builds on the legacy of 10up’s leadership in enterprise WordPress delivery; for more than 15 years we’ve helped large organizations deliver complex digital experiences on WordPress, often in partnership with hosting and platform providers like WordPress VIP. The success and satisfaction we see inside those organizations increasingly mirrors what analysts are beginning to formally recognize. Recognition like this is encouraging for the broader WordPress ecosystem.
This kind of recognition means more because it comes straight from the people who use our platform every day. In the 2025 Gartner® Peer Insights™ “Voice of the Customer” report for Web Content Management, WordPress VIP was given the Customers’ Choice distinction — based entirely on verified customer reviews. Enterprise teams shared feedback on what really matters once a platform is live: capabilities that hold up under pressure, deployments that don’t derail momentum, and support teams that show up when it counts. To the customers who took the time to share your experience — thank you. We’re proud to support the work behind your most important digital moments. See the full report : https://lnkd.in/gSUrbEf9

Our Managing Partner, Digital Product, Jessica Wagner was featured in The Food Institute’s roundup of restaurant chains winning the mobile app game, and what their playbooks reveal about building loyalty that lasts. Jessica shares why the best apps create habit and anticipation (not just transactions), how brands like Starbucks and Taco Bell turn ordering into fandom, and why reducing friction and making loyalty feel personal matters more than gimmicks. https://lnkd.in/et5b9Giv

#Flutter, #ReactNative, or native iOS/Android? It’s often one of the first questions Sage Y., our VP responsible for mobile app engineering and technology, encounters when advising clients on architecture for cross-platform mobile products. Modern cross-platform frameworks have matured significantly. For most apps today, none are an impediment to creating outstanding mobile experiences when the product and engineering decisions behind them are sound. That means there isn’t a universal “best” or default answer. Our evaluation is primarily driven by three factors: 🖌️ The product experience, especially interface design choices. ⚙️ The organization’s existing engineering ecosystem. 📱 App functionality on the roadmap, particularly when deeper platform or hardware capabilities are involved. Sage wrote a practical overview explaining how each technical approach fits into these criteria, with real-world examples from projects for Meow Wolf, Fennel, Goosehead Insurance, and Warby Parker. https://lnkd.in/gedxPAqs

Our VP of Open Source Initiatives, Jeffrey B. Paul, was featured in LeadDev’s article on what Tailwind’s recent turbulence reveals about open source in the age of AI. From the pressures on sustainability and visibility to where AI might actually help smaller, under-resourced projects endure. 🗞️ https://lnkd.in/gcvWnxvt

Traditional media once captured nearly three-quarters of content-driven ad spend. Today, it’s closer to half — and still falling. The result? Publishers are being pushed to rethink revenue, discovery, audience depth, and infrastructure all at once. Our new whitepaper with Fueled explores the six trends driving this shift and how publishers are adapting in the real world. Download your copy: https://lnkd.in/eaJu98ZV

We created ElasticPress.io to make it easy for website owners to turbocharge their site search without technical mastery. Now we’ve expanded that vision by making modern WordPress site search even more accessible to small businesses with a new entry level plan. The new ElasticPress.io Engage plan offers WooCommerce shops faster filtering, smarter search, and scalable performance, starting at just $29/month. Teams can also tap into optional AI search capabilities, like semantic intent recognition and summary responses, with OpenAI integration. Built to help even more stores convert faster, scale smoother, and drive growth. https://lnkd.in/g8ZVBJUZ

Inspired by dating apps, built for dinner time. We crafted “Inspire Me,” the Good Housekeeping UK Kitchen app’s swipeable recipe discovery deck, to help people decide what to make quickly, visually, and without endless searching. Swipe right to save, swipe left to skip. Dietary preferences and seasonal content keep the suggestions relevant. And we extended the feature to include promotional cards, like contests or newsletter signups, without ever disrupting the experience. https://lnkd.in/g76zShk2
