CSS includes the prefers-reduced-motion media query, which respects a user’s system preference to limit animations and motion. Using it, we can reduce or eliminate motion effects for users without affecting the experience for everyone else. It’s a small change that can significantly improve accessibility for people who find movement on websites distracting or overwhelming.
