AllScale just raised $1.5M USD in our pre-seed round to build the enterprise operating system for traditional companies to use stablecoins for their day to day operations, including payroll, invoicing, and sales. I am really grateful for all the trust and support from our investors and supporters Draper Dragon, Amber Group, y2z Ventures, Oak Grove Ventures, KuCoin Exchange, Cyberport Hong Kong and the angels Jedi Lu Shun Ma Tony Chen Gracy Chen. Also many many thanks to my co-founders Ruoyang (Leo) W. and Jun Li and my colleagues Jianfei CHEN, Khalil Lin, Avrilyn Li, Jony Ren, Xi Weng, Wayne Wang and Yuchi Zhong. We are just getting started and will be making stablecoins more accessible and intuitive for anyone! It's very interesting to see how all the dots connect. Previously I worked as a product manager for payment fraud and risk management at Capital One and TikTok and then left my corporate job to focus on my bootstrapped marketing agency HashMatrix. With 0 funding raised Jennie Wu and I built a team of 25+, doubled our revenue almost every quarter to high seven figures, and helped many top AI startups to launch and scale including Genspark, rabbit r1, Talkie, Kling, Hailuo, Pixai and many more. We had to work with hundreds of influencers, freelancers, and small businesses around of the world each month and payment became the number 1 issue for us, especially in the emerging market, and stablecoins become almost our only option to do business efficiently. I noticed 3 things: 1. Living in Canada and the US, we are very privileged - we never need to worry about getting paid and can focus on growing our business. Payment feels like electricity and water - they are easily accessible and reliable. But working with partners in the emerging market would mean stablecoin is hands down the best way to process payment. 2. No matter what people say about stablecoin, if you do business internationally, once you use it once, you would always be using it. You would understand what "your money is your money" and "payment without borders" mean. This would greatly reduce your payment cost, reduce waiting time, open the doors for you to do business with anyone in the world, and greatly improve your capital efficiency. 3. Many companies and institutions are building the infrastructure to make stablecoins more compliant, secure, and efficient. However it still requires a lot of know how and would need to rely on many separate vendors for on-off-ramp, anti-money laundering, KYC/KYB/KYT, tax reporting, and more. Onboarding cost is still very high for most businesses. The market needs more end-to-end solutions to orchestrate different services. That's why we started AllScale to make stablecoins more accessible, intuitive, secure, and compliant for any traditional businesses to use.
