🚨HERE WE GO Fed Governor Chris Waller said: “Crypto stablecoins introduce competition in payments.” That single sentence just flipped the script. Because when the Federal Reserve admits stablecoins are good for competition, it’s monetary strategy. Debt = Dependency. U.S. owes +$38 trillion. Printing more dollars hurts credibility. And realistically they can't pay it back. But exporting digital dollars through stablecoins? That’s genius, it expands global dollar dominance without issuing new Treasuries. Here’s the bigger picture: Crypto is no longer a threat to the dollar, it’s becoming the backbone of the dollar’s next expansion phase. The Fed knows it can’t stop crypto. So it’s co-opting it. My take: Chris Waller’s statement is a signal. U.S. isn’t fighting stablecoins anymore. It’s deploying them as the next layer of global dominance. So yes, this is great news for U.S. Because in a world drowning in debt, stablecoins are the only export that keeps the empire alive. 📌 Your thoughts?

Beyond Fees: How Coinbase and PayPal Are Reshaping the Stablecoin Game Coinbase announced a major collaboration with PayPal to promote the use of PYUSD, PayPal’s dollar-backed stablecoin. As part of this partnership, Coinbase is waiving all fees for transactions involving PYUSD on its platform. Users can also redeem PYUSD directly for U.S. dollars through PayPal without any additional charges. PayPal's strategy is clear - it positions PYUSD as a mainstream, compliant alternative to other stablecoins like USDT (Tether) and USDC (Circle) and boosts PYUSD adoption across DeFi, payments, and everyday crypto transactions. 👀But what is Coinbase's strategy? I believe Coinbase made a strategic choice not to issue its stablecoin. Instead, it’s building a deep alliance with PayPal - leveraging PayPal’s massive user base while also taking advantage of the flexibility that issuers themselves lose due to regulatory restrictions on how they can use and promote their stablecoins. This is a long game. Coinbase isn’t just waiving fees - it’s betting that partnerships, not new products, will win the next phase of the stablecoin race.

Cryptography depends on proofs that are rarely properly verified by machines. As our systems grow more interconnected, that gap becomes a fundamental limitation. The team at SandboxAQ, working with academic partners, just advanced the science behind machine-checked cryptography. Their ASIACRYPT 2025 paper formalized CryptoBox three different ways in EasyCrypt and revealed something important. The real barrier to scalable verification is not the construction itself but the definition style. Small shifts in how we express a game or manage state can dramatically change the tractability of a formal proof. Understanding these structural costs is essential as we build cryptographic systems that must withstand AI-accelerated threats and operate across global infrastructure. Blockchain Analytics Companies DON'T Work ..... If you haven't identified a crypto address or crypto artifacts that lead you to an address that you can trace. I know that statement was a little unsettling for most 😇 and we understand that some of the best tools are used by law enforcement and the private sector like Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs and more 🤷🏼‍♀️ But They Only Work If You Have A Crypto Address to Start TRACING 🤷🏼‍♀️ I actually heard this mentioned by Evan Kohlmann of Cloudburst Technologies whose team tries to attribute real world entities and identities with crypto addresses. And I have to agree. As a company that prides ourselves in finding MILLIONS of dollars worth of crypto hiding in plain sight, we work hard to ensure that our clients are able to find any linkage to crypto "DNA" in order for them to be able to take the next most important step in digital asset recovery..... 📌Crypto Tracing using blockchain analytics and intelligence tools. Many of the major investigation agencies from all around the world have come to the conclusion that crypto is connected to the majority of their investigations, but WHERE ❓❓❓❓ Is the bottleneck we are trying to get most companies past. We need to find the crypto address, in order to trace the digital assets and seize them. .... I'm extremely happy that the Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum allowed me to share this important insight in Spain earlier this year and emphasize that we can't get to STEP 2 (tracing crypto) of a crypto investigation, without STEP 1 (identifying crypto artifacts) 🎯 Did I Miss Anything 💭❓
