Our partnership with Empowered by Light (EBL)

Solar energy has the power to transform lives, which is why we’ve partnered with Empowered by Light (EBL), a nonprofit dedicated to providing clean, sustainable energy to the world’s most vulnerable communities.

We donate 1% of our annual revenue to support EBL’s impactful projects, which power homes, schools, and clean water systems with solar energy. Through electricity, these projects create opportunities, improve health, and enhance safety for communities on the front lines of energy poverty and climate change.

Project Zambia

Since 2022, our donations have enabled Empowered by Light (EBL) to deliver solar projects in five remote communities across Zambia.

Four communities received solar-powered water pumps, storage, and irrigation systems, providing reliable water access and supporting local agriculture. These systems are helping increase crop yields, improve access to clean water, and reduce the risk of waterborne diseases.
In 2025, our partnership also brought reliable solar power to Kaloko Clinic, a maternity facility serving nearly 20,000 people. The system now provides consistent electricity for lighting, medical equipment, and vaccine refrigeration, enabling safer deliveries and more reliable care for mothers and newborns.
