<h4>What is the Disability Visibility Project?</h4>
 
The Disability Visibility Project (DVP) is an online community dedicated to recording, amplifying, and sharing disability stories and culture. 
 The DVP is directed and staffed by one person, Alice Wong, and your monthly donations will allow the organization to expand and have a greater impact. Currently, <a href="https://disabilityvisibilityproject.com/about/" rel="nofollow">the DVP does the following</a>:

 people through our partnership with

<li>Writes original essays, reports, and blog posts.</li>
<li>Publishes <a href="https://disabilityvisibilityproject.com/how-to-participate/guest-blog-posts/" rel="nofollow">guest
 blog posts
	</a> by disabled people
 about the lived experience.</li>
<li>Hosts and organizes <a href="https://storify.com/SFdirewolf" rel="nofollow">Twitter chats</a> about disability culture and other issues.</li>
<li>Organizes and facilitates events, gives presentations, and participates
 on panels.</li>
<li>Supports and amplifies the work of other disabled people and
 organizations in the community using <a href="https://twitter.com/DisVisibility" rel="nofollow">social
 media</a>.</li>

national level</a>. 
 
Social
media gave me the tools to extend my reach and bring more people together,
