Hey there! I’m Michael, but let’s be honest, nobody calls me that. Around here, I’m Mickey (seriously, there are more Michaels in my family than in a 90s yearbook). By day, I’m an award-winning full-stack web developer at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada. But when the sun sets and the debugging ends, I don my cape and become… a game developer and teacher of all things GameMaker! I've been obsessed with learning and teaching since I was 14, back when I was hacking away in Quake C and exploring how games really worked. Teaching has always been a part of me, even if I didn’t go the traditional classroom route. Instead, I stayed home, fired up the computer, and built a world of code and creativity. So... Why Patreon?
