Community Guidelines

A community resource for guidelines on Zazzle's Creator and Maker community

Our Community

Zazzle is a marketplace powered by people. This is one of the significant facets that sets Zazzle apart from the rest! As people, we know the power of community and connection; it is essential to have an active space for engagement, dialogue, and connection.

Our Zazzle community is filled with so much passion - from idea-sharing to robust discussion. In Zazzle’s community, we lift one another up, we share our struggles, our triumphs, our information, and insights.

Our community is part of our Zazzle marketplace and is run by the same consistent values. While we invite creative expression and highly value a central space to coordinate and engage, we want all to feel safe and heard.

We encourage you to explore the behaviors and feel empowered to connect with others who also leverage Zazzle as a tool and marketplace for creative expression.

How to Be Z

Behaviors aka how to be a most excellent member of the Zazzle community, including our forums.

Community - How to Be Z
  • Be Human

There’s a Person on the Other End The marketplace you’re on is run by people, designed by people, and used by people.

We Value Privacy Posted content should be related to discussions about Zazzle and its products. We want to protect others’ privacy-- do not post others’ personal information, such as phone numbers, private email addresses, physical addresses, personal social media accounts, credit card numbers, SSN numbers, or passwords. Your use of the community forum is subject to Zazzle’s Privacy Statement

  • Be Good

Create, don’t Hate Zazzle is a community of the heart, and we place great importance on everyone feeling they have a safe place within our marketplace to be their true authentic selves. Examples of hate that will not be tolerated can include but are not limited to discrimination, trolling, intimidation, harassment, the promotion or threat of violence, derogatory language, and bullying of others.

Keep It Clean. No violent content, nudity, or sexually explicit material are permitted within the community.

  • Be True

Keep It Real. Authentic content is valued on Zazzle. We ask that you do not post content that you do not have the right to publish or that doesn’t abide by the Copyright Rules of Zazzle.

If you see content that you think may fall outside of those rules, send us a note at [email protected].

  • Be You

One you, One Account Only one account per person is permitted within the community. We value who you are so please don’t pretend to be someone you’re not, or intentionally give misleading or false information.

We See You Your story matters so bring it to your profile. We want to know you so let us see who you are, what you’re about. If you have stories to share or matters to discuss, you can email us here.

These behaviors are essential to us, and therefore, we hope they are equally important to you. Our business is to support our marketplace, including our Creator community, and we believe these rules help us do that together in partnership.

And we don’t want to go there, but it has to be said. Bad behavior will not be tolerated. You will be warned. You will be warned less gently. You will be saying bye on the third go-around. And we might just go straight to bye if you go there. So please don’t.

We commit to doing our best in enforcing these rules consistently and fairly, and ultimately, we will try to do what we think is best in each situation. To report inappropriate behavior or content, you can always reach out to us.
