I’m currently working as a Quantum Data Sciencist doing R&D in Ayesa (I3B), implementing practical quantum (or quantum-inspired) solutions for industrial applications. I’m working from time to time in several somewhat-connected areas such as Tensor Networks, optimization techniques (quantum or TN-based) and Quantum Machine Learning. For instance, data compression is fundamental in all of them. I’m also learning about well-established DevOps and MLOps utilities such as Docker, Azure Blob Storage, MLflow or MinIO to setup proper infrastructure for project deployments.

I’ve recently given an introductory class of a Quantum Tecnologies course in the University of Granada, along with my colleage Iñigo Perez Delgado, explaining how to create basic quantum circuits on IBM Quantum Composer. Such a wonderful experience to see a class full of motivated alumni and teachers!

I’m playing around with tensors on my spare time occasionally, so I might show some cool, day-to-day application of tensor networks soon ;)

I’m also slowly reverse-engineering and decompiling the Super Scribblenauts Nintendo DS game, function by function (which is going to take a while), as well as maintaining my existing homebrew projects, and setting up my personal (vegan) recipes page.
