Venue: Rabat, Morocco

The Global Growth Conference (GGC) 2026, organised by the Amadeus Institute, will be held in Rabat, Morocco under the theme: “Structuring Growth: Turning Uncertainty into Opportunity”.

In a global environment marked by geopolitical fragmentation, trade tensions and the reconfiguration of value chains, the issue of growth has become particularly critical for Africa and the Global South. Beyond access to financing, the challenge today lies in structuring sustainable, productive and resilient growth trajectories.

The Global Growth Conference 2026 builds directly on the outcomes of GGC 2025, which led to the adoption of the Rabat Roadmap on Financing Growth and Energy Transition. This roadmap now serves as a reference framework to support practical discussions and the structuring of concrete growth pathways, particularly for Africa.

Inspired by the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the GGC 2026 will focus on key priorities, including:

  • Financing and structuring growth in Africa;
  • Value chains, productive investment and industrial development;
  • Energy, resources and transition as drivers of resilience;
  • Morocco’s role as a trusted hub for stability, investment and partnerships connecting Africa with global markets.

The GGC 2026 will bring together over 100 high-level speakers and more than 1,000 participants from over 50 countries, including senior policymakers, international financial institutions, investors and private-sector leaders.

Hirander Misra, our Chairman & CEO, has been invited to participate in “The Discussion 5: AI, Data Centers & Cloud Infrastructure: The Backbone of Digital Sovereignty”, Thursday 21st May at 2:00 PM.

ZERO13 Wins “Best Initiative for Sustainable Trading Infrastructure” at TradingTech Insight Industry Awards 2026 https://zero13.net/zero13-wins-best-initiative-for-sustainable-trading-infrastructure-at-tradingtech-insight-industry-awards-2026/ Fri, 27 Feb 2026 09:21:54 +0000 https://zero13.net/?p=4072 London, 26 February 2026ZERO13 has been named “Best Initiative for Sustainable Trading Infrastructure” at the TradingTech Insight Industry Awards 2026, recognising its role in building institutional-grade market infrastructure to accelerate global climate finance.

The award acknowledges ZERO13’s major focus on addressing the structural gaps that continue to hinder sustainable investment at scale. With an estimated US$4–5 trillion required annually to meet global climate targets, traditional financial systems remain fragmented, slow, and inaccessible to many climate-critical projects. ZERO13 was created to change that reality by enabling the efficient, transparent flow of capital into high-impact sustainable real-world assets.

ZERO13 centres on green real-world assets (RWAs), including carbon credits, renewable energy, and nature-based solutions such as reforestation and agroforestry. By digitising and tokenising these assets, the platform transforms them into investable instruments that can be issued, placed into digital custody, invested into, traded and settled across global markets with institutional confidence.

Through its 7Cs framework, ZERO13 strengthens climate resilience and economic empowerment by connecting fragmented markets, channelling capital into underserved regions for carbon credits and sustainable commodities development, supporting communities through inclusive climate finance tools, and aligning the objectives of companies and countries under a shared sustainability mandate. This approach reinforces a core principle: sustainability must also be economically sustainable, and the Global South holds some of the world’s most valuable, investible, and verifiable climate assets.

Beyond efficiency, ZERO13 addresses trust and inclusion. Its regulated infrastructure provides a level playing field for public and private sector issuers, while offering institutional investors the transparency, compliance, custody, and reporting standards they require. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ZERO13 supports ITMO trading, carbon auctions, and climate finance initiatives across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

By bridging traditional and digital finance, ZERO13 is helping to turn sustainability from ambition into execution, and execution into measurable, investable outcomes.

MEDays 2025 – The Crisis of Multilateralism: Has Climate Diplomacy Finally Died? https://zero13.net/medays-2025-the-crisis-of-multilateralism-has-climate-diplomacy-finally-died/ Fri, 23 Jan 2026 14:29:30 +0000 https://zero13.net/?p=3836 Saving Multilateralism: From Debt-Driven to Asset-Driven Finance

“Multilateralism isn’t dead, but it is in cardiac arrest. To save it, we must move beyond headlines and start building the digital rails for real implementation.”

At the Institut Amadeus MEDays Forum 2025, our Chairman and CEO Hirander Misra highlighted the urgent need to close the $4 trillion climate financing gap. At ZERO13, we are meeting this challenge through our 7Cs framework, which ensures that Climate action is inextricably linked to Capital and Connectivity.

By empowering Countries, Companies, and Communities to monetize their natural capital, we are shifting the narrative:

  • From Debt to Equity: Moving away from debt-heavy models toward asset-backed growth.
  • Interoperability: Breaking down the “walled gardens” of carbon markets to create a seamless global network.
  • Revenue, Not Just Cost: Transforming sustainability from a compliance burden into a revenue-generating opportunity for the Global South.

Expertly moderated by Julien Tourreille, Ph.D. (Professor at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal), the panel featured world leaders: H.E. Dr. Csaba Gondola (Hungary’s State Secretary for Circular Economy and Climate Policy), H.E. Mr. Cyril Svoboda (Former Deputy Prime Minister of Czech Republic), H.E. Mr. Bill Rammell (CEO of Parallel Histories), H.E. Mrs. Nouzha Bouchareb (Former Minister and Vice President of Mediterranean Climate House Foundation), Bankole Oloruntoba (CEO of Nigeria Climate Innovation Center), Walid Oueslati (Head of Climate and Biodiversity Division at OECD – OCDE), Irene Mia (Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies) and our Chairman & CEO Hirander Misra.
