To preview documentation changes locally, you need to install the Mintlify CLI. Run the following command to install it:
npm i -g mintAfter installation, run the following command at the root of your documentation (where docs.json is located) to start the local server:
mint devOnce started, you can visit http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the local documentation preview in real-time.
We recommend using Mintlify's AI skill when writing documentation. It includes component references, writing standards, and workflow guidance. Run the following command in your terminal to configure the AI tools:
npx skills add https://mintlify.com/docsNote: This command applies to common AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. For more configuration details, refer to the AI tools guides.
We use Mintlify's GitHub App for automatic deployment.
Simply push your changes to the main branch (e.g., main). If your Mintlify Dashboard is configured correctly, the production environment will automatically pull the latest code and deploy it.
