Overview

ArkAPI provides pay-per-call API access funded with Bitcoin via Ark and Lightning. No accounts are required. You create a session, fund it, and make API calls.

Sessions and payments

• Sessions are created by generating a token and funding it with a Bitcoin payment
• Balances are non-refundable once a session is funded
• Session balances expire after a period of inactivity
• Pricing is displayed in the API catalog and on the website

Acceptable use

You may use ArkAPI for lawful purposes. Do not use the service to:

• Attack or probe systems you don't own
• Generate illegal content
• Abuse rate limits or attempt to bypass payment
• Resell API access without permission

Service availability

ArkAPI is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue endpoints at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability.

Liability

ArkAPI is not liable for losses resulting from API downtime or errors, incorrect data returned by endpoints, or expired or lost session balances. Maximum liability is limited to the sats paid for the specific API call in question.

API data accuracy

API responses are provided for informational purposes. Data accuracy depends on upstream sources and databases. Do not make critical decisions based solely on ArkAPI data.

Marketplace

If you publish an API on the ArkAPI marketplace, you are responsible for its content and behavior. ArkAPI reserves the right to remove any published API.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
