I spend most of my time thinking about, and building, money computers at Brale. Flipping bits that power progress and expand GDP is something I find wildly compelling to work on.
At Brale, we help protocols reach their potential by building internet-native financial infrastructure. The work enables new kinds of commerce and coordination. In practice, much of that work involves helping stablecoins and the projects built around them accelerate.
Jami and I reside in Des Moines, Iowa, with our children, Dalmatians, and likely a few fish. You can typically find us at the library or art center, rolling around town on a bike, or at any place where Jami might have an exhibit or the ballet has a show.
I can usually be found on X or LinkedIn. I can regularly be found at various V-Sum events and a number of other conferences. Although sparingly – I’m traveling a lot more recently.
If you’re looking for me, one of the following pictures may give you a useful hint. They are all old. The kids are all grown up and I have more grey hair.
