Test Mode is now on by default

New

New organizations now start in Test Mode automatically — manual actions are blocked and automatic actions cannot be enabled until you're ready to go live.

When you're ready, click Go live on the banner. This unlocks manual actions immediately. You can then enable automatic actions separately from your Collection settings.

Already live? You can now pause and resume automatic actions at any time from Collection settings — useful when your team is away or your data needs a reset.

Filter invoices and actions by customer data

New

You can now filter the invoice and action list views using customer-level data.

  • Filter by customer country, account owner, custom fields, payment rating, dunning plan, and more
  • All filters available in the customer list are now available in the invoice and action lists
  • Customer fields are clearly labeled with a (Customers) suffix so you can tell them apart from invoice fields at a glance
  • Customer-based filters work in saved views, so you can build and reuse segments permanently.

Inline images in emails

New

You can now use inline images in Upflow messages: Upflow lets you paste or upload images directly inside your emails and letters, and they’ll render in the message body (no more broken image icons) — so you can communicate faster and more clearly. With Inline Images, you can:

  • Copy/paste or upload images inline while writing a message

  • Send and receive images that display directly in the timeline

  • Use inline images across emails, letters, and timeline notes

  • Stay within supported limits (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP — up to 15MB per image)

AI-Suggested Invoice Disputes

New

You can now use AI-suggested invoice disputes in Upflow: Upflow automatically detects dispute signals in customer replies and suggests a dispute reason you can confirm in one click—so you can resolve issues faster while staying fully in control. With Suggested Disputes, you can:

  • Automatically detect potentially disputed invoices from imported customer email replies
  • Get a suggested dispute reason based on the message content
  • See a supporting quote from the customer reply explaining the rationale
  • Accept the suggestion, edit it, or reject it (you always stay in control)

Prerequisites

  • Email integration: You must have automatic reply imports configured so Upflow can analyze customer communications
  • Custom dispute reasons: Make sure your organization has dispute reasons configured in Settings

Ad hoc actions

New

You can now create ad hoc actions in Upflow: standalone tasks and reminders that don’t require a specific workflow or invoice status. Use them to coordinate with your team, track one-off collection activities, and send follow-ups anytime.

With ad hoc actions, you can:

  • Create an ad hoc action for a specific customer or invoice
  • Start from an existing template or write your own message
  • Works with any invoice status

NB: Ad hoc actions are taken into account in the calculation of the workflows’ minimum contact delay.
