Inspiration:

There is no all in one app for small kids to visualize 3D objects in AR.

What it does:

It fetches the preloaded 3D model from echoAR server and with a user-friendly UI the kids can easily select the category of the 3D model and visualize in AR. It also shows the small description of the selected 3D object with which the children can enrich their knowledge.

How we built it:

We built it with the help of echoAR to load 3D models from the server to load it in realtime which keeps the app size low. We used the Vuforia SDK to load the 3D models in AR and augment in the real world. We used Unity to integrate both echoAR and Vuforia to build as an Android app. We used C# for creating a UI and create backend process.

Challenges I ran into:

We faced some problems while building the app and we were not able to load some 3D models.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of:

There is no all in one AR app that loads 3D models in AR.

What I learned:

We learned about echoAR.

What's next for LeARn:

We are trying to more 3D models and more categories to the list.
