i missed a bus

inspiration

Everyone around me has trouble with the public transit system, in particular the bus system. We feel like people would appreciate a cult type site where people share the sadness of missing a particular bus.

what it does

At the press of a button, you register what bus you missed and it will post it to the webpage wall. When you missed a bus, you can go on the site to find solace in the shared misery of other commuters.

How we built it

React and bootstrap for the slick frontend.

Challenges we ran into

Frontend: Being able to interface with the frontend effectively to provide a sleek user experience. Testing multiple frameworks to find the one we need for our project. We also switched ideas midway through the hackathon due to the difficulty of our previous project. We wanted to make an educational and functional sorting website complete with animations.
