The self-contained apartment with own entrance from house back deck. The apartment is available for clients or developers to stay when system and application collaboration is required.

Weekend and week rental rates available too. Place is great for Solo developers to escape the city for quiet thinking. Apartment has segmented private network. Rental includes Internet wireless access inside and on deck. It is a private space to work, plan farmland hikes and sauna.

A place to clear your mind with lots of fresh air, farmland foot trails and cows. It also contains a high-temp sauna for mind resets, great views and quietness. Vermont is 8 miles from the deck.

Birds and Wilderness

Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were avid bird watchers along the Caloosahatchee River at their adjoining winter estates. They spent winters in Fort Myers, Florida to escape the cold. Time often spent birdwatching with naturalist John Burroughs.

Henry Ford had a bird sanctuary at his Dearborn, Michigan home and a "Bird Island" at his Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan estate.

I have great respect for both men and share their passion for bird watching. Birds are kept well fed during Winter months. In Spring and Summer months the birds take care of insects around garden and flower beds.

We have birds everywhere. Cats are in Big House only. Never in Apartment. Often in Barn & Pastures.

Living and Kitchen area from Bedroom Loft door

The space was the Carriage House since cars were 80 years away when house was built in 1861. When I was a child this room was full of wood for winter to feed the huge house.
