Goodcabs, a cab service company established two years ago, has gained a strong foothold in Indian market focusing on tier 2 cities. Unlike other cab service providers, Goodcabs is committed to supporting local drivers, helping them to make a sustainable living in their hometowns while ensuring excellent service to passengers. Goodcabs has set ambitious targets for 2024 to drive growth and improve passenger satisfaction. The Chief of Operations, Bruce Haryali ,immediately wanted analysis of company’s dataset to know about current growth.
The objective of this project is to analyze GoodCabs' performance data to evaluate its progress toward achieving the ambitious growth goals set for 2024. By examining a dataset of 426,000 trips across 10 cities over six months, the analysis aims to uncover actionable insights, identify performance gaps, analyze trends, and highlight underperforming areas.

- MySQL/PostgreSQL : For getting insights of business requests using SQL
- Power BI : For data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Data Modeling : Star schema with dimension and fact tables.
- Microsoft PowerPoint : To prepare presentation of the project.
- Go through the guidelines
- Check the datasets and make sure it is cleaned dataset and ready to use.
- Import the database files into MySQL and perform query operations to get insights of business question.
- Import the csv files into Power BI
- Establish relationships between tables (star schema).
- Create visualizations for key metrics.
- Add custom measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced analytics
- Publish the dashboard to Power BI Service.
- Create the presentation of the project sharing insights and recommendations.
