What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
Adding functionality based on the assignment requirements.
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
I learned how to navigate, create and delete files using Bash.
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
For the part about listing all files in the subfolder, I decided to add all of them using one command which includes the name of the subdirectory before including the files. I figured the efficiency is better than using the same command 3 times for each different subdirectory.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
I had a small challenge where I was running the commands in the Bash terminal and my assignment didn't run exactly the same as the commands. I realized that when I was making the data directory, I was not returning to the newproject level for whatever reason, so I had to add the cd .. for the project to run correctly at line 32.
How were these changes tested?
I originally ran the program through the bash terminal and copy and pasted the commands as they worked into the assignment. After everything was complete, I ran the assignment on its own. I troubleshooted from there.
